Ok, anyone who has twins (or more than twins) has totally won my respect completely! There is a reason God gave me my 5 one at a time! WOW! My first "crisis" occurred this morning with my cute little twin girls...
I actually woke up feeling pretty good about taking the two girls and G to the gym... So when I picked up Little M's friend at school, I headed to FAC for my favorite class, Body Pump at 8:30am. I got to the gym and took out Little S's car seat and set it on the sidewalk, then walked around to the other side of the van and took Little M out of her carseat and got the community diaper bag and told G to carry the keys... what an HONOR for her... :) I then carried M in my right arm and the carseat with my left hand and nearly had a stroke walking to the door which was probably only 15 feet max?
I got them all 3 successfully checked in to the babysitting and headed to my class! My dear friend Christi was doing the class with me and the instructor was TOUGH! I thought my biceps were going to fall off... For those of you that don't know what Body Pump is, it's a cardio weight lifting class that lasts an HOUR! You work all body parts, starting with squats, chest, back, triceps, biceps, lunges, shoulders and end with stomach. I leave feeling like i've been whipped... I LOVE IT! I spend a majority of the day (ok, all day) telling other people what to do EVERYDAY!) So it's nice to attend a class where someone else tells me what to do... Anyway, after the class I was shaking all over and went to carry the twins back to the car the same way... needless to say I was WORN OUT! Thank goodness Christi was there to help me put them back in the car because between the two of us... we were both pretty sore!
But my workout went great. Now to the crisis! Which really wasn't a crisis at all, it's just fun to be dramatic...
I got home around 9:45 and both girls (the twins) were getting hungry. Now Little M's friend takes a bottle, so I was warming it up for her and she was getting upset and so when I brought her and the bottle into the living room, little M just BUSTED into hysterical tears and was not consolable at ALL by G, so I had to get G to bring me the bouncy seat, put Little S in the seat, she was wailing by this time because I had to take the bottle out, and try to lift a sports bra off which was soaked in sweat and try to attach little M to me and give Little S her bottle... Too bad there weren't any cameras filming me... NOT... What a sight... It was entertaining to say the least and the old "get stressed out over everything, Amy" probably would have had a cow trying to figure out what to do, but the new "calm, cool and collected Amy" was very calm and even got G laughing about it!
But we made it through!
Another day!
Calm cool and collected amy? who's that ;) Love you!!
