I am so sorry that I haven't blogged since our "illness." And fortunately, it was just big G that was sick... poor thing.
We've really gotten back into a school groove this past week. Little ME and I have enjoyed our time alone. We've gone to noon Mass almost everyday. That has been incredible. She and I sit on the very front row and she does great!
Friday evening I had a "girls night out" for the first time in a LONG time. Two of my very good friends from church and I went to see Imaculee Ilibageza (I'm sure I'm destroying her last name). She is a very devout Catholic from Rwanda, Africa. She survived the genocide in 1994 when over 1,000,000 people were killed including her parents, grandparents, and two of her brothers. (her oldest brother was out of the country studying).
It's an amazing story, Left to Tell, if you haven't read it. I highly recommend it. Inspiring and spiritual and very informative about a situation most of the rest of the world ignored...very sad.
She talked for almost 2 hours! We had no idea how long it had been because we were just mesmerized by her story.
Anyway-I'll have more pictures soon. I am watching Indianapolis beat the New York Giants. Sorry-I'm a huge Peyton Manning fan...great game so far!! (poor Eli-if he had only gone to UT...)
God bless you today and have a wonderful week!
