Can't sleep... too much DP in me...

Why do I do it? Why do I drink Vanilla Dr. Pepper so late in the evening when I know perfectly well what it will do to my system? Besides probably rotting my insides... it keeps me awake and I bounce around the house like I'm on speed! I have done 2 loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen and watched the season finale of Lost in a 2 hour time span! Not to mention the fact that I mowed the darn yard again! What is wrong with me??? Nothing, I think... But this week has DEFINITELY been a more peacefilled calm week... I even had a friend come for lunch today which was SO NICE! I had an adult conversation last night with my very dear, very pregnant friend, Sarah and another adult conversation today with my good friend Carol... Life is very good... I also just saw on my FB, that a very "old" friend from HS is cancer free... Could God send me any more messages that He still has His Hand in EVERYTHING?

And as if we couldn't get any more rain, there is a thunderstorm brewing in the distance, oh about 10-20 minutes away...

I could do without all the rain and clouds... although, the sun did come out today and really helped lighten the mood even more...

Ricky is doing good in his class... although, listening to him, you would think he wasn't, but I know him and he's so darn smart... This is the guy who barely studied through college and makes the highest score on the accountant exit exam before he graduated... he can read books on how to do things, and be able to do it... he's very smart... I am biased, but I think others might agree. Anyway, today and tomorrow they are taking all they've learned the last two weeks and putting them into practice... he's a little nervous, but I know he'll do fine and finally on Friday at 9:42 exactly, his plane will land and I will literally melt into his arms and become like JEllo... I am so exhausted and tired of being "on" all the time... I feel like a doctor who's been on call for like a million hours... hang on, I'll do the math... ok, only 288 hours... but that's still a lot!

I will post a picture of little ME's new trick... it's certainly a fun trick for her and makes mornings, night time and nap time soooo much more fun because she gets "stuck" standing up and unfortunately for her and I, she can't figure out how to get down... the downside is that at 5:52 this morning when she WOKE UP, she decided to pull up and stand and then of course, couldn't get down, so she was up for good when I went in there to try and put her down and run out of there hoping she wouldn't figure things out... those babies... so smart... started wailing right away... so now it's almost 11 pm, there's a severe thunderstorm warning out and i've been up since 5:52... ugh... I need a nap!!

oh, this second picture is from yesterday. G was home because she ran a fever Monday night and so her and little G were playing Barbie and all of the sudden, little G holds up this Ken doll leg and says to G, "Oh, and by the way, do you need a leg?" It was hysterical! She is an absolute nut!

I hope your week has been as blessed as mine...

God bless you.
Oh, and BTW- 10 nights down, 2 to go... ;) (didn't want you to think I wasn't counting!)
