I was going to blog about my great landscaping adventures I had this weekend, but in searching through my photos and my camera I realized I did not take any photos of the rest of the work Ricky and I (and several of my neighbors) did on Saturday and Monday. So the blog about the landscape will have to wait until later this week! Meantime, you can get a glimpse of the newly painted door that the builder had to do from our contract. I love the navy blue and it matches my shutters perfectly, and no, for whatever reason, I didn't get an entire house shot so you could see the difference, so just pretend. I'll try to find a pic with the white so you can see the difference.
Ahh, see? Doesn't it look so much better???
This was little G's favorite toy in Arkansas. We just found it! As you will notice, she is airborne.
My poor little ME. She is actually trying to mouth the word, ball. But she looks so darn funny trying to say it. She was walking around with JT's bat as though it were a cane. Pretty funny. She is the "spirited" one...
Daddy got home just in time to toss the baseball a few times to JT. Little G had a ball (literally) watching and jumping. I really love this neighborhood. We're able to do so much more outside than at our house in Arkansas. Please notice the grass... yessssss....
Well, I will snap a few shots of the great landscape tomorrow and hopefully have a fantastic blog all about how the "city of friendly people" really pulled through for us this past weekend. I have some wonderful neighbors... Thank you Jesus for putting these people in our path.
Have a great hump day tomorrow!
I LOVE the new blue door. When we had our house painted last summer, I wanted dark blue..the painter talked me into a lighter blue and I've never been happy with it. It looks great & the grass is wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Beth! The builder couldn't understand why I wanted it... he was just lazy, but I LOVE IT TOO!!! I can even almost mow the yard! Wow!! When are you getting back to your blog???
