So it's the last day of school today. The kids all got their gifts and loved them. We were supposed to go to Darian Lakes (amusement park), but the weather was very stormy and rainy, so we opted for a trip to the movies to see TOY STORY 3 in 3D!!! Enjoy photos~
JT had his "moving up" ceremony. They take each child and put his/her photo up on the screen and each teacher says something about each one of her children. She said JT was the energizer bunny....no other words could be truer...

Quite possibly the best 3rd grade teacher on the planet. JT absolutely LOVES Mrs. Smith. She was a phenomenal teacher and really made JT's adjustment to another new school absolutely wonderful. He cried this morning before school because not only was he worried he would never see his friends again, but he didn't want to stop going to school and learning new things from Mrs. Smith. (his words!) She told him at school that since he had soooo many little sisters, she would see him a lot over the next few years... I loved it!! (also note-she's a redhead! Us redheads got to stick together!!!)
This was the "big event" that took the place of Darian Lakes. Watching Toy Story 3 in 3D at the Imax theater... tickets were $70.00 total, and snacks were $40.00. HOLY MOLY! Can you believe it??? Ridiculous really... But they had a blast. Wouldn't trade the memory for anything (except maybe $30)

She literally sat on the edge of her seat the entire time. It was absolutely hysterical to watch her throughout the movie.
She says as we're leaving, "There were some pretty scary parts, mom. But I loved it anyway..."
