That is the title to a song that my children sang at the Christmas program at our Church every year until we moved. It's really a sweet song, goes something like this;
On a day, long ago, to a woman named Ann,
There was born a baby girl, she was part of God's plan.
Sweet, Sweet, Mary.
As she grew, people knew, she was special indeed,
She was good and so kind, to all people in need.
Sweet, Sweet, Mary.
An angel came, from above, and said she would bare a son,
'Be it done unto me,' she was God's chosen one.
Sweet, Sweet, Mary.
Now we know, Mary lives, up in Heaven above,
She is mother to Jesus, and mother to us.
Sweet, Sweet Mary.
Sweet, Sweet, Mary.
Anyway-I have the cd of when big G was in school and the song is on it, but I can't seem to figure out how to download it onto my Blog...maybe my children could help me...
With all this being said, my "sweet, sweet Mary" was anything but sweet for me today...
So she is in baby prison...
This is her "prison." She is actually getting ready for nap time, but I told her it was her prison for now...she is hiding from me in this picture.
She pops her head up and says, "Ta-da!" Trying to woo the prison guard to lighten up her sentence... I'll have none of that...
Now she's really trying to woo me with her smile....
alrite-after nap time you can get out of prison...stinky girl...
