Super late nite...

Well, it's almost 10:30 and I am posting late because I have had an insane day.  It started this morning with milk being poured all over my kitchen floor.  Handled that one, REAL WELL... then I had to get the kids out to the bus and get the two little ones dressed and ready to go to the Honda place by 9:00 am to drop my van off, yes, Honda is freaking out over brakes ever since Toyota decided to screw up a few (please note sarcasm) cars...So my brakes are pretty squishy compared with my 03 van (did I tell you we have two mini vans?  A blog for another day), but I didn't think anything of it.  Needless to say, when I finally got my van back this afternoon I nearly sent me, Gi and ME through the windshield when I BARELY tapped on the brakes at the end of the Honda store... crazy!

So my new good friend, Kelly, picked me up at the Honda place, and took me home and visited with me for a bit and I watched her youngest (she has four adorable girls) for a little bit and she came and picked her back up...
Still following?

Then I fed and watered the animals at the petting zoo...

OK, I fed and put two munchkins down for rest time and tried to figure out how I was going to PICK up my van.  Kelly has four, I have five, once the van would be ready, eleven in one van going to pick up my van, wouldn't go over so well... So I called the family that has basically adopted us, and left a very sad, very pathetic message about if they weren't busy, could they help me, and I'm sorry I'm bothering you... very sad...
The dad called and came and picked me and my two cherubs up and dropped us off to get my van.  He earned his ticket to Heaven today.  I love that family.

So we got back, and the other 3 had already gotten home and had snack and started on their homework, yes, they were fine, the oldest is more then capable of watching them for 15 minutes.

Dinner went quickly, clean up, baths, rosary (prayed daily, mind you), and kids off to bed so I could watch the second to last episode of probably my most favorite show EVER, LOST.   Got very teary eyed during the show.   I love that show...

Then I realized my bed wasn't made.  Not only was my bed not made, but most of the crucial ingredients, MATTRESS PAD, were still in washing machine.
Did I mention I washed the sheets from ALL SEVEN BEDS WE HAVE?  Yah, as if I didn't have enough to do!!
So sheets, pad and pillow cases are drying.  I swear, I'm going to keel over one day soon.  And to top it off, my sweet number 3 celebrates her seventh birthday tomorrow!!! I have set the table with a Happy Birthday table cloth, a Happy Birthday centerpiece and a purple (she doesn't like the color pink) princess birthday hat to wear...  :)

I'll leave you with some pictures of little ME "helping" me with the laundry... She really does help, but these shots show her "resting" on the job...

Have a blessed Wednesday.  Hopefully I'll blog earlier...
